The ASUS ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 features an industry-leading ROG AimPoint Pro 65K optical sensor delivering 65,000 DPI resolution and 800 IPS tracking speed for absolute pixel-level accuracy. Combined with a native 8,000 Hz polling rate, this wireless gaming mouse translates physical movements into on-screen actions with sub-millisecond latency.
At the core of this competitive mouse is the ROG AimPoint Pro 65K sensor, which registers movements at speeds up to 800 inches per second (IPS) and handles rapid accelerations up to 70 G. This level of tracking fidelity ensures that even the fastest flick shots are captured without sensor spin-out or skipped frames. Gamers can fine-tune their sensitivity across a massive resolution range, adapting the mouse to low-sensitivity arm sweeping or high-sensitivity wrist tracking.
Input latency is minimised through the integration of ROG 100M Optical Micro Switches and an 8,000 Hz polling rate. Traditional gaming mice poll at 1,000 Hz, updating the PC every millisecond; the Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 transmits data eight times faster, reducing input delay to just 0.125 milliseconds. The optical switches avoid double-clicking issues, offering a crisp tactile feel rated for 100 million clicks.
The physical design of the mouse prioritises consistent physical feedback, utilising premium Corning Gorilla Glass mouse feet. Unlike traditional PTFE feet that can wear down or drag on cloth surfaces, the glass feet provide a highly consistent, low-friction glide that reduces the force needed to micro-adjust your aim. The mouse weighs 82 grams and measures 126.1 x 63.9 x 39.7 mm, striking a balance between stability and rapid manoeuvrability, and includes a 2-metre ROG Paracord cable for drag-free wired play.
Versatile connectivity options allow you to pair the mouse to multiple systems using USB 2.0, Bluetooth 5.1, or low-latency RF 2.4GHz wireless. The internal battery provides up to 98.5 hours of continuous gameplay, ensuring you do not lose power mid-match. For customisation, the web-based Gear Link software allows you to configure the 5 programmable buttons, adjust the DPI button, map the pairing button, and control the integrated Light Guide Plate lighting with AURA Sync without needing heavy local software installations.
